Vitamin E is not a preservative, it is an antioxidant and does NOT help with the shelf life. This product will grow mold and yeast beginning with in minutes if it gets water into it! Never take this into the shower or scoop product with wet hands. Keep tightly closed and use a dry scoop to remove the product to take into the shower.
