Travel Halo Review

The travel Halo is designed to make sleeping while sitting up a comfortable experience. It was invented by a guy, Mike, who traveled a lot and was looking for a better option.

This is extremely helpful if you are traveling, or while you are sick!

This will run you about $25. The travel halo is pretty compact and has a carrying pouch. This could be really helpful for road trips! This is small compared to many of the u shaped products out there.

The travel halo has two pads on the back to keep your head from falling one direction or the other causing cricks in your neck. The front has a flap of fabric to shield your eyes from sun and distractions. I don’t know that I would personally use this on public transit, but for a road trip, absolutely!

The travel halo is made from high grade blend of cotton, polyester, and Spandex. Its stretchy so it fits nearly any size head. 

What I LOVE about Travel halo is that the partners are Army vets. The Travel Halo gives a 20% discount to all former and current US military, just give them a call!

Wearsafe Tag Review

Wearsafe sent me this wearsafe tag to review. 

It is a wearable personal safety device with bluetooth. When wearing this item, you simply press the button.. A Wearsafe alert with audio will let your friends know you need help.

The App is simple to navigate and easy to use. It makes sending alerts, managing multiple networks, pairing Wearsafe Tags and receiving alerts a smooth process.

The monthly subscription is about $4- $5 a month to to send alerts* and your network members can download the Wearsafe App for free to receive alerts. This is great for those with aging parents who might be unable to reach their phone if they have fallen. Also good for athletes, college students and anyone who needs extra assurance.

The alert features are fantastic. When you press the button on your Tag, critical information is sent to your selected network of family and friends. They will be able to coordinate an appropriate response through the private group chat, or, if necessary, send this critical information to emergency responders.

The best part about this is it keeps your phone hidden up to 200 feet away and you can still alert people (and keep your phone hidden until you can call)  discreetly with this wearsafe tag. Can you imagine all the loved ones that could be helped with this?

These devices are only $39! This is a great item to have for your kids as they grow up and move on. As a parent, I would definitely buy this to give to my older kids. Its great peace of mind. It also gives me peace of mind with an aging parent as well.

Protein puck review and giveaway

Protein Puck sent me a shirt and a variety of protein pucks and minis. All the flavors are available here. The almond butter dark chocolate is my absolute favorite.

They also have clothing as well. However I would like to see more styles with small logos just on the front.

To be fair, Ive actually had these before and I really love them. They are such good quality with real ingredients that actually fuel your body. You can find all the ingredients here.

One of the reasons I love these pucks  is that they are gluten free, vegan, FULL of protein, and natural ingredients.

A little factoid about their story, they actually started in a small kitchen trying to come up with something new. They started selling to a local coffee shops and these bad boys were a HUGE hit!

Blade and Rose review

Blade and rose sent me this SUPER CUTE Monster outfit.

Their site says the are innovative and Funky. YES They are!! The company is named using the middle names of the owners children. How sweet! This is a family business and it’s a leading British clothing brand. Amanda created the brand while on maternity leave and its a hot item!! What adorable styles.

They sent me the Monster reversible bandana bib, blue bobble hat and monster leggings. The characters are on the bum of the pants…. SO Cute! The fabric is super soft, functional and hold up well in the wash.

The colors in this ensemble are jelly bean green with blue stripes and a monster on the bum. Freaking cute! The bobble hat is jelly bean green with Blue checked pattern and a green pom pom on top.  The bandana bib is much cuter than your average bib and just looks like a part of the outfit. GREAT for teething! This has a double snap to secure.

These adorable clothes from Blade and Rose make me (almost) want another crazy lifer!

Zuli review and giveaway

I received one zuli smart plug. What a cool product. I only wish I was able to fully test with three different units. The functionality seems extremely impressive.

This product can control your lights, appliances, or a Nest Thermostat from one app. The Zuli app turns ANY lamp into a dimmer. AWESOME!

Zuli can also detect when you're in a room and will instantly set the light and temperature. SO cool!

You can track energy usage of every light and appliance in your home through the app with iPhone 4S, 5S, 6, 6+, 6S, 6S+ and iOS 7.1 or later.

This is the only Smartplug that senses when you walk into a room and adapts the temperature and lights to a predetermined setting or your choice. What an awesome feature. Being a mom, I often come in the house with my hands completely full. With Zuli, I can have the lights come on as I walk in the door. This is much safer for everyone! With three smartplugs I could put a light in a few dark sections of the house so the light turns on automatically. This is PURE brilliance from a safety aspect.

With a minimum of 3 Smartplugs, the Zuli Presence feature can accurately pin-point your location within your home.. The Zuli app senses when you enter or exit a room and sets the lights and temperature. AMAZEBALLS! There is no need to fumble for the light switch or your phone.

Breathe right strips review

Breathe right sent me a package of their strips to help facilitate a good night sleep.

These are lavender scented and stick better than the previous type I have tried.

You peel the backing off of the strip and place over your nose just above the bridge of your nose. Many times inflammation can cause the airway to be blocked causing snoring and loss of quality sleep.

When I used these I noticed an immediate difference. I really liked the lavender smell as well.

Bondic review and giveaway

BONDIC sent me this liquid plastic welder. How cool is this???

Bondic kit. instructions seem simple enough. First you squeeze the liquid from the black cartridge onto the item that you are fixing. Second you flip the device over and use the UV light to cure the liquid.

Here is an instructional video from Bondic. We have used this on a few things and have found it to be extremely durable.

 -works best on rough surfaces and even better with undercuts
-solidifies only by exposure to UV light (LED included)
-works best in layers (the max. thickness of one layer is 1- 1.5 mm)
-works best when the surface is clean and free of grease
-solvent free, which is one reason why it doesn’t dry out
-liquid plastic welder that should be used with the principle of welding and not gluing
