Sackcloth and Ashes review and giveaway

I have just received quite possibly the coolest blanket I have ever seen! Sackcloth and Ashes sent me this blanket and these opinions are all my own. I was so excited to share this with you I could NOT wait until next week! :)

 

 

First of all – the blanket.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

There are tweed wool, solid fleece and Aztec wool options and each one is more stunning than the next. The blanket I was sent is the mixed berry tweed wool blanket with navy blue, hot pink, light blue, orange and white flecks of color in a woven blanket. see more at www.Sackclothandashes.org

Second – the company vision.
With every purchase of a blanket, one blanket is GIVEN To a local homeless shelter. How cool is that? The vision came as Bob Daltons own mother lived on the streets one summer. This can happen to anyone as life sometimes just happens. When Bob Dalton tried to figure out what to do to help the shelters one word kept coming up.. blankets!

 

Third – Personal note
If you cannot purchase one of these blankets you can donate unused items from your own home. Weve been doing this with little crazy life since she was born. Big toys usually get sold to purchase more age appropriate toys, however, Most of the smaller toys, clothes, socks, and shoes get boxed up and dropped off at the family shelter near our home. That said I know we can do more. This blanket is going to be a great reminder of that! I am going through our house tonight and cutting our throw blankets inventory in half. With that I am also going to find extra toiletries to include with our next dropoff. Another idea I have seen that I haven’t done is personal care bags. This is a ziplock bag with a toothbrush, toothpaste, a couple snacks and a bottle of water. I have seen people put phone cards in them with a little note that they are loved and cherished.

Garcinia Cambogia is a plant that is native to Southeast Asia. The most useful part is the yellow pumpkin shaped fruit (Assam fruit).  Garcina Cambogia has a phytochemical called HCA (hydroxycitric acid) . HCA supports healthy serotonin levels (which regulate sleep patterns and mood) and reduces appetite while impacting enzymes related to the metabolism of fat.

 

Green Coffee Bean

350 mg Green Coffee Bean

Green coffee Beans are beans that have not been roasted. They have higher chlorogenic acid which may support weight loss. This acid has been shown to have effects on glucose metabolism and discourage fat accumulation.

White Kidney Bean extract (WKB)

500 mg white kidney bean extract

This product is essentially an all-natural carb blocker. Clinical studies have shown that this product impacts absorption into the body.  WKB extract will block the main carb digesting enzyme which reduces the digestion of “bad” carbs (starchy). By doing this WKB reduces your total calories that are processed by the body while reducing their impact on the metabolism of fat. Depending on how starchy your diet is your results will vary.

 

I took Garcinia and Green coffee bean at the same time. I experienced a reduction of inflammation in my sinuses which caused symptoms of a healing crisis (ie: a lot of mucus – but not sick). Our bodies have the innate ability to heal itself if there are no barriers preventing it. Garcinia was a great inflammation fighter which is typically exhibited by redness in the face.

 

I then took Garcinia and White Kidney bean together. While only having 60 days of Garcinia and 30 days of the other two it is hard to tell what benefits It will continue to have. I do notice the redness in my face is still disappearing so im still continuing to take that. As far as the green coffee bean and white kidney bean extract my verdict is not conclusive yet.  I have heard of friends losing an average of a pound every few days. I typically weigh myself every few days and have noticed my weight slowly and consistently going down.

Of course, eating healthy and clean and exercising is a must as well and will optimize any benefit you can get from any supplement. After soaking nails in warm water (when polish softens) peel at base of the nail like a sticker.

KidOFit sent me this pair of shoes for my personal opinion. This is probably the coolest shoe I have ever seen for kids (especially for the younger kids).  Where o where do I begin?! 

Let’s starts from the bottom. My favorite feature is the clear bottom to see where their toes are! BRILLIANT!!! No more pushing on the toes to guess where the ends of their toes are! I absolutely adore this shoe based on this feature alone.

These shoes have a perfect fit system. They have Velcro across the top and along the heel as well as an elastic collar. This guarantees a nice comfortable fit as your child grows.

 

Kidofit has a wide toe box that allows for comfort while doing all the things that kids do without pinching their precious toes.

The shoes come with two inserts that offer even more of a customized fit for your child. This also allows the shoes to be worn longer and cost you less money in the long run.

 

The bottom of the shoe is made with thin flexible elastomer which mimics barefoot walking while promoting natural foot motion.

Emily Claire Creations sent me this adorable necklace to review and give away. It is nice and heavy. Its been hard wrestling this one away from my nearly 6 year old. She wants it for herself and not the CrazyLifeAsMom readers.

This is the clasp on the necklace making it secure on little ones and it doesn't easily fall off. I didn't even put it on little crazy life or I knew I wouldn't get it back for you all.
