Daddy N Company skincare baby bundle review and giveaway

Daddy N Company sent me three products for my honest review. Baby Shampoo & Body wash, Baby Bubble bath and Baby lotion in calming lavender. Check out this... Daddy N company is on the Healthy child healthy world site!! Way to go!

Made in the USA and all chemical free! How awesome is that?!  The only thing I did look for is sulfates and it appears that they us sodium Laurylglucodides which is typically derived from coconut. SCORE!

The smell is very mild and cleans great. We don't care about lather here, but it did have a slight lather and left no residue.

We are particular about the products we use and these are great from the littles to the adults!

Kiss Naturals bath fizzy review and giveaway

Kiss Naturals  sent me this bath fizzy kit. This was SO FUN! The packaging said "pink colored" but the content was visibly blue. The measuring cup markings were hard to read so I used a sharpie to mark.

This kit came with witch hazel, secret formula, silicone mold, mixing cup, spatula and natural fragrance. We don’t use scent in our home so this seemed strong to us, however for many this probably wont be an issues.

Very simple steps to follow and easy to mix. When we were putting the mix into the molds we pushed hard and got the majority of the mixture into the molds. The pressure caused the silicone mold to be slightly out of shape.

We waited 12 hours as directed and got half the fizzies from the mold without breakage. I think this may have been either a)not mixed well enouugh or not pressed into the mold well enough. In any case these are great fun for kids and my daughter loves them. It would be nice to have a refill kit for these to purchase.

Make 3 soap review and giveaway

I was sent Makes 3 soap for my review and all these opinions are my own. I was not financially compensated in any way. Check out their story here. Even more impressive is their Share the suds program.  For every 10 bars of soap that sold 1 bar is donated to a locally-based non-profit, serving local families in need. By buying their soap you are also contributing to those in need. Great philosophy!

NOW - the soaps. AMAZING!! I am in love with the quality, scents, and safety of these for all members of the family down to babies!! I was sent unscented, Sandalwood Black pepper, super shea, orange blossom, Lavender Vanilla, Coriander ginger oatmeal and Eucalyptus Cedarwood.

If you are familiar with natural ingredients you might know that coconut oil is a natural antibiotic and antifungal. The fact that this is one of the main ingredients in the soap makes me an extremely happy camper. The scent does not linger in a pungent way. It is very mild and pleasing especially when using on the little ones. Another benefit of the coconut oil is when using in the bath it will not irritate other parts of their body when they are splashing around getting it all over the place (or is that just my kid?)  AND NON-GMO! Packaging is also made with post-consumer recycled and recyclable materials, printed with non-toxic inks and sealed with non-toxic adhesives. Things all near and dear to my heart!

We have tried the black pepper sandalwood and the orange blossom so far. The scent is very light and the bars lather lightly. The ingredients that Make 3 uses are all natural, easily pronounced, and good for your skin. For example, here are the ingredients of the two bars we have tried to date.

Zipzickle frozen treat bags review and giveaway

Zipzicles sent me these bags for my personal opinion and I did not receive financial compensation.

These bags are fun and easy!! My daughter loves the popular frozen pops that are much like these. The reason we don't? Food dye, artificial coloring, and sugar. Ive been looking for healthier options for her for ages, and now I look no further.
If you read the zipzickle story they were in the same mindset for their son.

These zip top bags are perfect. We blended fruit and honey with a bit of water in our vitamix and filled the bags. These are a great healthy treat that you can control the ingredients. There are more recipes on their site

far left layered pop:
Mango (Mango, raw honey, water), small amount of vanilla ice cream, strawberry (Strawberries, raw honey, water), ice cream, and mango mixture

Middle
Strawberries, shredded coconut, honey, small amount of yogurt

Right
blueberries, water, honey, kale

Kinsa SmartPhone thermometer review and givaway

Kinsa Health sent me their smart thermometer. This thermometer connects to your

smart phone and is operated by an app.

The thermometer itself has a thin flexible portion that has a silver end that senses the temperature.  The middle has a bigger section to hold on to, and the other end has a plug that fits into the headphone jack into your smartphone or adapter.

This is a great techy product. I really love that it can keep track of all the times and temperatures and keep them stored under the family members name. It is easy to read and great if you have to take your child to the doctor as you have the history on the app.
The setup is super simple and walks you through each step.

The adaptor makes it much easier to take a temperature. However the app sometimes crashes (more frequently than I hoped) however you can email kinsa from the app to report the issue. With kids it’s a bit harder to get their temperature as they are squirmy and don’t sit still.
When you open the app you select the family member, and whether it is oral, under arm or rectal temperatures. One the temperature is taken the app will ask you “are you feeling any of these common symptoms” With faces for chills, fatigue and cough. You then can save the readout or re-take the temperature.

Overall Kinsa is a great product, and the only issues appear to be app related.
