Sun Warrior Review and giveaway

 

Sunwarrior sent me this raw plant based protein. In my research I have found that whey and soy are not as good as one might think. In my search to find the perfect protein for myself, this is in my top tasting alternatives. This is not chalky, chunky or bitter.

Plant Therapy review

Plant Therapy sent me their Germ Destroyer blend to review.

Kidpreneur Book review

 

Kidpreneurs sent me this AWESOME book.

This book teaches our kids basic principles of proper management of money.  My daughter and I read a chapter a day and did the quiz at the end of each chapter. The book was written at kid level while providing valuable information. 

The Toren brothers (Matthew and Adam) are serial entrepreneurs, investors, and mentors. They wrote this book to inspire and provide tools and methods for kids to succeed. This has spurred little crazy to start her own business. Their passion to help pass on their knowledge is apparent in this book.

Featured on Best seller amazon.com, Time, Fox business, CNN, About.com, and WSJ.

The chapters cover every topic in easy to understand language for the kid and resources at the end to help the parent guide their child.

Little crazy life and I were very excited to get this book and put it to use. As a result Little Crazy has opened a business of her own and is on Etsy! :) Start up costs were covered by us and she has to pay us back with a portion of her profits.

The cool thing about the authors (Adam and Matthew Toren) is they have researching and teaching techniques by running their own businesses.

Wild Republic review

 

Wild Republic sent me t me a cool reversible penguin stuffed animal. It’s part of their switch-a-rooz line. This is Chilli/Willi. Their best friends are Cookie/Hollar. 

They come from the land of Roo,  where they solve everyday challenges. They embrace differences and spread messages of friendship and acceptance (inside and out). The construction seems to be pretty good with super sturdy stitching when I pulled on the seams. They have big beautiful glittery eyes and silky smooth fur!

ARK Therapeutic is a family company. They specialize in oral motor therapy to help a variety of goals. In 15 years they have developed over 80 products for speech and oral motor development, sensory integration, oral defensiveness, texture aversions, drinking, and feeding to name a few. 

 

 

ARK therapeutic sent me a couple pieces of chewelry from their new arrivals. This is fantastic! They have gem and brick shaped necklaces with a breakaway necklace cord, and also pencil toppers! I might have to get the pencil toppers before school. Their chew items have 6 colors and levels of toughness. These are great for sensory output for kids who have oral fixations, autistic, Asperger’s, or chew their nails. Little Crazy saw these and really wanted one. She chews her nails until they almost bleed. She wanted one that feels like fingers so she will quit chewing. When I communicated this to customer service they recommended these.

 





The things I love most about these items is EVERYTHING! They are made in the USA, medical grade, on the go, and the cords are breakaway so as not to cause injury if snagged on something.

 

I'm going to age myself here. Having worked with children that have a range of disabilities these are absolutely wonderful. The internet was a new thing when I worked with these children or I would have bought these on my own dime. Seriously!

The hype behind the Theatre Box is well placed, this thing is awesome!  The speaker arrived in an amazingly crafted box to ensure it's safe arrival and the design of it only added to the excitement.  I have had many home theater systems in the past, but this honestly is the best of the bunch for so many reasons.

First, is the compact size of the speaker.  The box has a total of 5 speakers, in a 10.3 x 3.3 x 4.3 inch package, that create a realistic 360-degree surround sound.  I hooked it up to my tv in about 30 seconds of effort and, because my daughter had the remote, tested it on an episode of My Little Pony.

Later it got a full day of movies and music as a test.  The sound quality, regardless of what was on, was clean, crisp and didn't require me to sit in one spot over another to get the best listening experience.  The fact that is is completely portable and can play up to 20 hours on a charge makes it the perfect speaker to take anywhere.  The pairing with my Bluetooth device was easy and it stayed connected, unlike some systems that loose connection easily.  The speaker offers an extremely unique feature of having a built-in microphone for hands-free calls.  That feature alone makes the speaker perfect for even an office setting.  The control panel, on top of the device, is slick and easy to use.  I like that the control buttons are flush with the surface so it doesn't distract from the overall look.  We received a blue speaker, which makes it a cool statement in the room.  My advice is if you're looking for a home theater system check the Theatre Box out.  The simplicity of the system, the amazing sound and the portability are all A+.  Word is a remote is on the horizon and once that hits you've got the final piece to make this speaker the absolute best home theater on the market at a more than reasonable cost.
